Postby Maidmarion on Sat Apr 02, 2005 12:53 pm

Hey

The new literary, philosophical and political mag (now approved by the societies committee) is coming out on april 15th

We're still looking for submissions of work if anyone is interested in writing
an article on pretty well any old topic.

We're also looking for some one to do some artwork.

If interested please e-mail me on hw49 or the editor Rik hart on rh34

It means you're trying to keep the thread alive. Bumping it up the sinner message board so to speak.

And good luck.

what sort of editorial direction will the magazine have or will it encompass a broad political spectrum? Any room for satire?

Satire has no place in the twenty-first century.

It is outmoded and may offend people intentionally or otherwise.

Satire involves politics and an element of criticism in its humour.

This is unneccesary, comedy should be indifferent to the current and relavent.

Lets have no more of this satyr and keep to comedy that is entirely abstract and not aimed intentionally or otherwise at any institution, group or individual in society.

As you should well know bubba.

As Oscar Wilde said...A gentleman never hurts anyone's feelings unintentionally... but then I guess you're not a gentleman are you Midget?

The old sniping behind the mask of an "unregistered user" ploy again. Please, if you're going to be rude to Seth, at least have the common decency to put a name to yourself.

Apologies... i forgot to sign in...I wouldn't call it sniping as such, more playful banter...anyway, Seth, you're still a goon.
