Is anybody going to this gig?

I've been offered 1 ticket but i don't much fancy it on my own.

I saw them in Stirling on Monday where they were beyond words (again)! Played more old stuff than new too, which was fantastic! So good that they're playing all these small Scottish venues. So go even if it's on your own. It'll be a spiritual experience!

But I would say that wouldn't I...

Nothing wrong with going to see bands on your own, I sometimes prefer it (particularly after a certain someone RUINED the end of the Ben Harper concert!)

I saw The Music play the Barrowlands not too long ago and they were ACE.

How do you get tickets and how much do they cost? I've only heard a few songs by the Music but I thought they were pretty good.

You get tickets by having an academic daughter who can't go because she has an art history trip the next morning.

I now do have 2 tickets and a gigging partner.

Yippers

I saw the music a few years ago at the Barrowlands and they were simply amazing. And the new album is better, so it should be soooo good.

Anybody else going?

I went to see them in Stirling on Monday too, and I can say as someone who hadn't really listened to them before, they fucking rocked!!! :D Thank you to Raindance for making us all go! It was great as it was such a small venue it was a bit more personal, but they didn't do an encore, which was slightly disappointing. But definitely one to go see!

Go- gigs on your own are brilliant!

I went to see the Kaisers on my own last month, and now I'm actually going to considerable lengths to stop people I know buying tickets for gigs I'm going to. Up to and including "Patrick Wolf? Oh, he's not that good really" and "Babyshambles are a pretty dull, static live band".

I'm not sure they were convinced.

Aw Cain, I hope you have a nice time at the gig. The more I hear the worse I feel about not being able to go! Damn. Maybe it's karma...

I'm glad I gave my ticket went to a true fan!

Oh and please don't tell me how great it was afterwards...otherwise I might have to kill you.
