I won't, I'm afraid. I'm heading back to the suburbs of Glasgow to get in all my gaming action. TFC is my game, but I just hope my mum's computer can handle it. It should do, and it's gonna be so much fun!!!!!!!!!111

Doh, I really should get Q3...

Cataclysm if anyone's interested - copies available from Greebo.

Oh and medieval total war would be nice too.

I've finally managed to get a working hard drive and network connection together in the same computer for the first time in about a month so I might be up for CS/DoD/MOH:AA and perhaps even a bit of VtM:Redemption role playing if anyone's that sad.

Put me down for Half Life deathmatch, tfc, cs and any other game that doesn't require a graphics card someone can make me a CD for. I'll just be cannon fodder but it'll be fun.

It takes a very special and strong-minded kind of atheist to jump up and down with their hand clasped under their other armpit and shout 'Oh, random-flucuations-in-the-space-time-continuum!' or 'Aaargh, primitive-and-out-moded-concept on a crutch!' - Terry Pratchet, Men at arms[/s]

Remind me again why you don't have a graphics card James?

Oh yeah, might it be a good idea to post IM names/ internal phone numbers for the purposes of actually getting a game going.

He interfaces with his computer directly, therefore bypassing the need for "graphics". Unfortunately, games support for such an interface will only appear in DirectX 9 and implementations of OpenGL2.0, neither of which are released yet.

We need one central person to organise it. Someone everyone else can email with details.

Oh I will play almost any half-life mod (CS, TFC, DOD...), Q3 and others if I have them.

Edited bit: I'll send an e-mail to the nice sysadmins at wiredsoc and ask them if i can set up a mailing list for this sort of thing.

Natural Selection looks pretty feckin' sweet. But it isn't available for play yet, see the website at http://www.natural-selection.org

I stand corrected. Or rather the 'about us' bit of the NS website stands uncorrected, still claiming it's in play testing. Hence my confusion.
