On a less generalistic note, surely, given that god has been described as being everywhere and all that, one would expect to find far more evidence for his existance. On the other hand, if the Loch Ness Monster does exist, in compirson to god it is absolutely tiny. People have also given various reasons, such as under water caves / cold streams of water at the depths of the loch and what not, as to why Nessy has not been found.
Whilst I believe in neither, it seems far more rational to believe in the LNM than it does to believe in god, since the lack of evidence in gods case is infinately more troublesome.
