Due to unforseen personal circumstances, I'm going to be homeless soon and would like to rent a room or property in St Andrews.

I'm a PhD student and can provide excellent references for the previous 3.5 years of letting properties in St Andrews (I also did my undergraduate here).

Maximum £550 per month for one bedroom, perhaps upto £1000 for a 2nd bedroom if the landlord is happy for just me to move in now and look for another person after the lease has commenced.

Hello,
I'm currently moving out of a room in a lovely university-rented property for postgradutes in Hope Street. The room is very large, with a polished wood floor and a sofa. There are two shared kitchens, a bathroom and a shower room on the same floor as the room, and being on Hope Street it's very convenient. The lease is until mid-August 2011, and rent is approximately £460 a month.

I am currently applying for a lovely three bedroom house on market street with MDDC.
I am female, 20 years old and currently in my second year and my friend is male, 24 years old and is also doing a PHD. Both very friendly!
All of the three bedrooms are doubles, and there is a good sized kitchen and lounge/dining room. The rent would be £400 a month.

We are a 3 bed flat looking for one more flat-mate for 2011/12 year. My flatmate Chris and I are currently in 2nd yeas.
It is a lovely Victorian flat on Lade Braes (accessible via South St).
