We are four girls who live in a four-bedroom flat at 7 South Street. The rooms all have double beds, large desks and are spacious and light. We are looking to rent 3, possibly 4 of the rooms from 1st June to the 31st August - we're renting to postgrads so it would be very quiet. Dear Madam,

I would like to ask about the possibility of renting the property in South Street. I plan to come to work as a Visiting Professor at School of Physics and Astronomy, University of St Andrews, for approximately ten
weeks in the period second half June - August 2011 and look for accommodation. I would come with my wife and three children: our older son is four and the twins are two and a half years old.

Is the price of 400 pounds meant for each room?
