Location: Bobby Jones Place, St Andrews (near Morrisons), fifteen minutes walk from South Street.
What: Large bedroom in 1st (top) floor flat. The flat is under five years old and has double-glazing throughout. The room has a double bed, desk, large wardrobe, and a view over St Andrews towards the sea. Access to kitchen facilities is included but pots and pans etc. are not provided. You would be sharing the flat with a 26-year old member of university staff. The room would be suitable for a professional person (preferably a University employee) or possibly a PhD student. The flatmate should be considerate, fond of a quiet atmosphere, clean, tidy and regular in joint house duties, respectful of the other person’s privacy and right to use and enjoy the same space undisrupted. The room is not suitable for those who want to stay up late regularly / be noisy / live a student-type lifestyle (you know what I mean). Additionally, the room is not suitable for music-haters as flat owner is a pianist and practises regularly (on the other side of the flat).
Conditions: Interview and written agreement to a set of (reasonable) house rules.
When: Entry from 1 September 2011, though this may be negotiable.
Rent: c. £400 per month plus shared bills.
