Will be having an 11 am visit from me tomorrow, on a quest to reclaim a blue bowl with chocolatey goodness in...

(I'm assuming the chocolatey goodness will all be gone though!)

Is shockingly rude in posting that to the board.

Is unaware that posting someone's real name is against the rules of the board, therefore if one user name has a known owner it is against the rules to reveal that both names are by the same person :/

Edit: Ahem, to the person above the person above :)

All together now..."oh ye cannae throw a piece oot a 20 storey flat, 700 hungry waens'll testify tae that, if it's butter, cheese or jeely, if the bread be plain or pan, the odds against it reaching earth are 99 tae wan"

Apparently thinks I am undeserving of the adjective 'wonderful.' Or, was it the 'rather' that made it too much? :(

quite possibly doesnt know the second verse to the above song...

"On the first day my maw flung out a piece o' Hovis brown.
It came skyting oot the winda and went up insteid o' doon,
But every twenty-seven hours it comes back into sight,
'Cause my piece went into orbit and became a satellite."

(cheers to Gingerbeer for reminding me of all the words)

Reminded me of the great term that is, "piece."

Deserves the whole song, for that.

"The Skyscraper Wain"

1.
Ah'm a skyscraper wain, ah live on the nineteenth flair
But Ah'm nae gaein' oot tae play ony mair
Fer since we moved tae Castlemilk Ah'm wastin awa'
Fer Ah'm gettin' wan less meal every day

Refrain:
Oh, ye cannae fling pieces oot a twenty-storey flat
Seven hundred hungry wains'll testify tae that
Be it butter, cheese or jeely, if the breid be plain or pan
The odds against it reachin' eirth are ninety-nine tae wan.

2.
On the first day me maw threw oot a piece ae Hovis broon
It went skitin' oot the windie an' went up instead o' doon
Nae every twenty-seven oors mah piece comes intae sight
Fer me piece went intae orbit an' became a satellite

Refrain.

3.
On the second day me maw thought she'd hae anither go
The Salvation Army band wis playin' doon below
"Onward Christian Soldiers" wis the tune they should've played
But the oompah-man wis playin' on a piece ae marmalade

Refrain.

4.
On the third day me maw thought she'd hae tae try again
But ma piece it hit the pilot ae a fast low-flyin' plane
He scraped it aff his goggles, shouted through the intercom
"The Clydeside Reds hae got me, wi' a breid an' jeely bomb!"

Refrain.

5.
We're goin' tae write tae Oxfam tae try an' get some aid
An' all the bairns in Castlemilk hae formed a Piece Brigade
We're goin' tae march tae Georgie's Square tae claim oor civil rights
Like nae mair hooses o'er piece-flingin' heights!

Not bad, what? The mater's Glaswegian, don't you know.
