Guys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses

...but why not? I think glasses look great - v. French-looking.

Yes they do, and the title of this thread sounds like a line from a Disney song.

They dont its true. I only got male attention when i started wearing contacts. To look French is not a good thing at all though. To look intelligent and wear glasses that suit you is cool

Fabrizio Ravanelli's cousin was struggling to grasp this concept when the White Feather was on Teesside.

"I understand glasses" he said, making spectacles with his hands, "but... passes?" as he made a kicking motion.

and glasses can be hot, but like all things it depends on how well they suit the person

:( Girls make passes at boys who wear glasses, love some emo specs. I don't think that's strictly true that boys dont like girls in glasses.

It's a Dorothy Parker quote - 'men seldom make passes at girls who wear glasses'.

Hmmm...when I was younger I used to think that was true. But then I decided I couldn't be bothered with men (or contact lenses) any more, switched to glasses most of the time, and met my boyfriend. Guess it's not so true then!

I have to say, I have never had passes made at me whilst wearing glasses that I can remember. But that's possibly because I feel more confident wearing contacts, so I tend to wear them when I go out to anything remotely dressy.

Nowt wrong with a girl in glasses, as long as they are nice glasses.

Men don't make passes on girls at all - glasses or not. Pricks!

I have to say that when in public/bars etc, I get much more male attention when I am wearing my glasses. Maybe it makes me look better, more refined. Its possibly just to do with the fact I can actually see them giving me attention though........... hmmmmm

Women who wear glasses are so much attractive in my opinion...there is just something about glasses that does it for me...and my girlfriend wears them too.

A nice pair of glasses can be very sexy.

As a life long wearer of glasses though, I'm pretty bias.
