Fireworks...?

Can anyone tell me if there are any firework displays on tonight and when where they are? I seem to recall one at the Bay Hotel last year.. Thanks!

This town is living up to its brilliant reputation for being Scotland's social hotspot!

I just phoned the Bay, and they're not having fireworks, the nearest place is Crail. You could always buy some from Alldays on South Street, but unless you like your limbs just the way they are, plus vision in both eyes, I wouldn't recommend it.

Do what I'm doing, staying in bed all day (seriously, the only time I moved was to buy some Oreos, ice cream and coke (the legal stuff), and I've been in my bed ever since, now I'm listening to some George Clinton and life is all good. Funk and junk? Life doesn't get much better!

I wish I was in St Andrews at the moment, I feel like I'm in a war zone here, there seem to be several fireworks displays going on around my area, plus there are people with private displays in their gardens next door, and some kids seem to think it is funny set fireworks off sideways and let them chase cars up my street and then they land on the pavement outside my flat and explode!!!

Thanks! I like fireworks and I have seen some out my window it just would of been nice to see a proper display. Oreos rock, I love them :) Just sparklers it is for me then wheeee sparkles :) :)

Bristol is ace, i just went out into the street for 2 hours and just watched them all around! Oh the joys of family living on top of a hill! It does sound like a bit of a war zone, but im just so so excited!! All the pretty colours!! The smell of burning in the air!!! Its sooo much fun!!

I think St Andrews tends to save its fireworks until St Andrews week - the Bay is going to be having a display at the end of the month, around the 26th I think.

Close enough to a warzone... ...to the original poster, St Andrews' organised displays are put on during the St Andrews week around Nov 30th., normally from the Bay Hotel.
