we're only getting two guest tickets for the graduation? Wasn't it 3 last year? Well that's a bit crap, isn't it?

It doesn't even work for me...I get as far as confirming my name as it will appear on my certificate and then i get some random gobbledegoop html purple page (and yes I've tried on different computers). Anyone else having this problem?

It shouldn't be...

If anybody would like to see this results from last year's survey of first year and graduating students, they can access it from http://www.yourunion.net/education and then clicking on "Internal Surveys".

Well it seems I'm not due to graduate this year. That's nice. Hopefully it won't stop me getting my degree in June and continuing on to do an M.Litt.

You sure I get
Every year, the University conducts a survey of all graduating undergraduate students and of first years as they carry out pre-advising for entry to second year.

These surveys were first carried out in 2005, and the results of that survey are attached here.

but no survey

Yeah, sorry.

It's not working properly. OnCampus (the hosts) are on it at the moment- they're uploading the file for me.

What's the deal with being included in the press and on a T-shirt?

It has been brought to my attention that certain people refer to me as a legend. Should you meet one of these people, maintain a safe distance and telephone the police. Under no circumstances attempt to deal with them by yourself.

There's a list in the courier, Scotsman etc of graduates, their degree and where they come from. This is also available on a t-shirt.

you can opt to have your name not included.

And come to that, what's the difference between a general council ticket and a garden party ticket?

Do you happen to be graduating on Thursday?

Postby emzn on Tue Mar 14, 2006 10:36 pm

Do you require both your tickets?

My Fiance is flying in to see me graduate, both parents have stated their determined right to be there and there's also my little brother. I need two more tickets...and I can't rightly leave it to the morning of the ceremony!

Can YOU help me?

For anyone complaining about the uni ballsing-up over graduation: it's happened before, it will happen again, but it all works out in the end.

Better than Manchester, which sent me a graduation pack a week before the graduation... this despite the fact that I wasn't able to graduate yet.

...but then again, that is only my opinion.

And another follows on...

If anybody else has spare Friday tickets (one or two), I would really appreciate it if you could consider emailing me at khb2.

Also, can anyone enlighten me - is the standard procedure that we can ask at the registry or A. O. university administration if they find they have spare tickets? I'm terribly ignorant of this and was hoping there would be a nice helpful note on the graduation pages! The modern family refuses to cooperate with a 2 ticket rule... However, it's just hard luck to those who have to hover outside with cameras, I suppose!

I think the letter we got this morning states that any extras will only be issued on the morning of your graduation ceremony.....which is a bit of a pain given i have bros who want to come and need to take days off t odo so and it would be pointless if they don't end up getting a ticket anyway.

Why does the uni have to do dumb things like reduce ticket numbers? Where on earth have all these extra tickets gone that people have been able to access in previous years? Surely the numbers graduating this year have not increased so dramatically compared to last year?

And anyone else thing the graduation ball ticket price is a tad bit extortionate?

I am going to be sooooooooo broke in June.

So what is the Garden Party all about, and why do we have to pay this General Council Pish?
