KALEB

Postby H on Sun Apr 30, 2006 12:19 am

OH YEAH THAT ROCKED! Congrats to the band for an excellent gig, great choice of covers mixed in with their own stuff - was awesome - and Walk! well that was something else!

However, on a less pleasant note, do people not think that someone should teach chavs/neds not to start trouble at a metal gig - there was this one guy who started on about six different guys in the space of about ten minutes, and by the end of the evening had an army of rocksoccers ready to beat him to a pulp at the first sign of trouble...when will those mentally retarded, skin-headed, non-human morons learn - JUST FUCK OFF AND DIE...ahem...rant over...but I think a few guys might agree with me!

Totally H. The show rocked. Well done to Badger et al, your covers were amazing (Ace of Spades completely made my night) and your own stuff was immense as well. Awesome! Might have to buy the CD you so shamelessly plugged as well

And again H, I agree. That ned was just a total fucking waste of space. What he hoped to achieve by pissing off an entire room of metalheads I have no idea. I can only hope that someone teaches him a lesson soon. Not cool.

Anyway, don't wanna end on a bad note, so to re-iterate; Kaleb you rock!!

They absolutely rocked! But who expected otherwise!

And yes, that ned rocking out was a dude, lol. Possibly proving people are not how you stereotype them.

Whoa lads! I thought last weekend was unbeatable but the 'best time ever' award may need to be passed on. Well done to the guys for compromising the structural integrity of Aikman's.

All hail the metal ned! That guy loved his Motorhead.

Kaleb were amazing. There simply isn't a word in any language that can describe accurately enough how immensely fantastic that gig was! I'm told I downed a Magners through the Horne, but I have absolutely no memory of it.

Behold! Kaleb are so powerful that they can convert neds to metal!

Oh, and I'm the proud owner of "It's". Any guesses as to who has the missing word, and what it might be?

I agree, the set was awesome, it royally kicked ass.

I bought one of the CDs afterwards and was a little annoyed when it didn't actually work in any of my CD players. Does anyone else have this problem, of is it just me?

Just to clarify - the ned previously mentioned by me was NOT the metal ned - he was cool - I was impressed to say the least - the one causing the trouble was his friend!

Kaleb should definately do some more Pantera because that worked soo well - but so did everything else - so I guess they should just do more EVERYTHING! FUCK YEAH!

On the way out I was accosted by a random aging ned who hugged and congratulated me and seemed to think I was in the band- weird because I'm female and the least musically accomplished person in the world!

Sorry about that mate, we'll replace it for you if it's broke. We havent heard of this happening before so the chances are it is a faulty disc. If you're going to the next rocksoc i could bring an album along.
