Tea does not stimulate the tastebuds. It's merely aroma.

You've never had a decent cup of tea.

The perfect cup of tea for me starts with good-quality assam and a warmed mug/teapot, has freshly-boiled, freshly-drawn water poured onto it and is brewed for a bit. Not too much, or too little milk. Having said that, I'll take anything hot and wet. I have yet to find the absolute perfect coffee, it seems to be way harder to get right imho, but in any case coffee's good with a square of black chocolate, co-op fairtrade 85%.

I like my coffee . . . hot, robust, fruity and with a dollop of cream. Or, even better a skinny spiced latte from Pret a Manger (I'm addicted to the damn things. Every morning before work I stop for an overprcied coffee)

Try Sailor Jerry's as the rum. Tastes altogether like a Crunchie. With coffee.

Hmm. I like my rum like I like my women...

... 12 years old and mixed up in coke.

You've never considered what makes things 'taste' nice.

I like my coffee like I like my women: hot and strong.

... With a spoon in them.

I like my coffee like I like my women; warm, wet and savoured in bed on a Sunday morning, with the paper (specifically the Sunday Times Style supplement, and AA Gill's restaurant review)

It's refreshing to have a decent thread on coffee for once.

I'm not going to be witty, all the best ones have gone. Save to say I take my coffee like my whisky, that is straight, maybe with a dash of water.

Second, I second the cinnamon latte is not coffee. This is quite the equivalent of saying that terrible Irish cream liqueur is like whisky.

Third, the idea of a rum slammer is the best I've seen all week.

Fourth, coffee's ace and, erm, that's all I have to say.
