LOST: Mobile Phone and assorted numbers

Postby Phoneless Wonder on Thu Apr 01, 2010 8:12 pm

Lost: One mobile phone, last seen at the West Port. Black and silver Nokia, I forget the make. Probably slipped out of my pocket in the beer garden at the back of the pub. If found, contact me at ew257. There might be a reward, there might not be.

Mr Walsh,

have you asked at the pub if anyone handed in a mobile phone?

If yes but they did not have it, did you then go and check in the beer garden yourself?
If no, why not? It's where any sensible person would hand in a lost phone.

People are somewhat unlikely to find a lost phone, pick it up, take it home and then wait for the person who lost it to post a thread on this forum.

Also, either offer a reward or don't. Trying to sound mysterious or coy makes you sound like an idiot who doesn't take the loss seriously either way.
