Its just that more women tend to go for arts hence a higher percentage of 'attractive' women there.

I dunno, it depends on the science. In my green biology classes, that's environmental stuff etc, there are about 9 boys and 40 girls. If that's not bad enough for us girls, 1/3 of the blokes are gay, 1/3 are geeks, and 1/3 are so in love with themselves they can't see the us for their heads being shoved so far up their own asses.

There is one particularly pretty girl in our Biology class. The guys are so pathetic. The lads never pay any attention to all the girls around them, but when this one girl enters the room, you can literally see all the blokes in the class stare at her all through the lecture. They all flock over to where she's sitting, tongues hanging out, trying to engage her in conversation while completely ignoring everybody else. It's so superficial, it's scary.

hey, mother nature, you clearly forgot about Zombie Sheep! 40 girls have to compete for his attention. not fair.

altho i cant think what girl you are talking about. Our class is full of stunners - the reason noone knows that is cuz there is a complete man defecit.

And we are in the faculty of science *shock* i think we need a recruitment drive - more men for biology - one class last semester had a ratio of 5 girls to every guy.

I once went to a party and a certain ex student/member of the KK (I won't name names "NW") told me not to tell anyone I did comp sci- I told him where to go, but I thought it was interesting that so many people have an issue with doing a science subject.

Maybe it's because science subjects have the reputation for being really geeky and uncool- yes there are people who epitomise the science image- but most science students are as normal as most of the arts students, we just have a reputation to shrug off first.
As for looks in each subject, I agree with you that Arts seems to hold most of the good looking people, and that just seems to be a fact of life... that and the fact that classes in Arts are probably three times the size of most science classes.
There are the odd lookers in science though...

Oh I agree our class is full of stunners, don't get me wrong there. I just note that this one girl in particular does look pretty amazing, and the guys turn to jelly in her presence.

I don't know who Zombie Sheep is though. With only 9 blokes in class, I should be able to narrow it down, but I must say I'm stumped. It wouldn't be the tall fella who every girl falls in love with at 1st sight, but sadly has a girlfriend, and frankly, looked much better before the shaggy beard was grown?

We need more blokes though. Why do they seem to avoid Biology? If they knew it was a babe fest, they'd be queuing to join. Especially as we all go away on field trips together. What other subject allows the blokes to go on trips to old-fashioned houses in the middle of the highlands, and spend the whole time surrounded by girls outnumbering them 5 to 1? Getting back to nature. It's fantastic.

Absolutely. There's one girl in one of my maths lectures with one hell of a squint.
Math, my dear boy, is nothing more than the lesbian sister of biology.

'Maybe it's because science subjects have the reputation for being really geeky and uncool'

surely the film Goodwill Hunting made maths cool. afterall a film with baseball, Elliot Smith & err ...maths, must be cool.

I don't know about science but there were only a few lookers in French last year...Not as many as you think there would be. Surprisingly however, the best looking of all was an absolute stunner of a bloke in my theology classes!
