What i feel more worried about is that people feel the need to vote for such a party, because the more middling parties, in their opinion, are not doing enough to answer their demands.
If the main parties want to do something about low turnouts, they need to sort out what they stand for. If they started listening to what the people wanted, then they might do better and the BNP and other such parties might disappear.
Not everyone who votes BNP is racist. Some parts of their programme appeal, like bringing jobs back to the areas needing them and unfortunately voting for this would also mean having to vote for less savoury options as well.
It would be interesting to see the reaction to the inclusion of a "None of the above" option on the paper!
